Good Bye Again to our City by The Sea

Leaving our city. Always makes me cry.

The Long Drive

Southern Utah Spring Break

We had so much fun down south, 

hiking, eating out, swimming, soaking in

the beauty of the red rocks and sand. 

It was a wonderful trip, we will be back!

Ben Lomond Hotel Stay

The Cowboy and I have always wanted to stay in this historic Ogden Hotel,

The place didn't disappoint, we had a really beautiful few days here. 

The restaurant 1107 at the top of the hotel was lovely and the food delicious and the view was magic. 

We had such a great date night, we were the only diners in the place felt like we rented it out for a private romance. 

Brought these flowers from home, The Cowboy is my love. 

Aquarium and Ogden Trip

We had a marvelous few days vacationing in Ogden, love that city.

Thanks to a very sweet and generous friend

we got a happy surprise of two nights here! 

It was fabulous, the kid-friendly hot tubs cannot

be beat, it was a really magical couple of days.

The Lodge at Stillwater

We had a very rough go at this moving thing...

Involving a lot of red tape, a fire, two apartments, 

a storage unit, several trucks, hives and on and on and on...

eventually we landed at 

The Lodge at Stillwater 

for a week while waiting to close on our house. 

The stress level was high but we managed to enjoy our time. 

We got to swim at least twice a day!

The UB and MP also enjoyed pretending to play the 

games at the lodge.... it really was a perfect refuge from 

our storm, so incredibly thankful for the miracles that

made it happen. The MP and UB still ask to go visit.

July 4th Camping

True to The Cowboys unpredictable style he swept us

away to a little last minute camping trip in Petaluma for

the 4th of July, it was so much fun. We were met by some

great friends, make a roaring fire, the kids rode bikes, ate

smores and watched fireworks from the hill behind our cabin

I love how The Cowboy surprises us with so many last min.

delights. Hoping for a very simple small town 4th next year.

Our gray day drive back over the bridge on the 5th. 

We are going to miss this place like crazy cakes.

This place is delicious and beautiful, we have so many

memories here and they have some great veggie options.
